OCAAF is a registered charity created by Orthodox Christians serving in His Majesty’s Armed Forces to build fellowship, strengthen Orthodox Christian life and support those connected with Defence.
Our community includes serving personnel, veterans, MOD civil servants, family members and supporters from a wide range of Orthodox jurisdictions and backgrounds.
OCAAF exists to advance Orthodox Christian practice throughout the wider Armed Forces community while providing fellowship, spiritual support and opportunities for service.

Saint Michael the Taxiarchis
St Michael, Commander of the Bodiless Powers, is the Patron Saint of OCAAF.
His example of faithfulness, courage and decisive action provides an especially fitting patronage for an Orthodox Christian association rooted in the Armed Forces community.
